LIGHTING CREATES DRAMATIC EFFECT AT SCOTTSDALE BAT MITZVAH

Give an event planner a blank white canvas and magic happens! That’s what we had for a recent Scottsdale Bat Mitzvah. With a 6,000 square foot white tent to work with, my creative Sensational Event’s team designed an impressive and inviting atmosphere for a dance themed Mitzvah that gave teens a lounge area to hang out in and adults a sophisticated though youthful formal seating.

One major design element that I always encourage my clients to include in their decor package is lighting. As you can see below the powerful effects lighting has can make a space go from beautiful to over-the-top striking! Adding up lights to the perimeter of the room and a pop of color on the tables will create a glow that will reflect attractively in your photography.

It was meant to be that I met Amy Petrovsky, owner of Sensational Events, outside of Costco just eight weeks before my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah. Peace, Love, Bat Mitzvah

Peace, love, Bat Mitzvah! Sonia’s celebration expressed her free-spirited personality with peace signs, bright colors and youthful flowers. The evening was captured by Harley Bonham Photography along beautiful centerpieces by Jan Dekker Designs; ceiling and room decor by Creative Occasions, and LED screens by Creative Backstage. Guests enjoyed henna designs and the engaging photo booth by Pictures This AZ. Venue, The Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Gainey Ranch. Details have the ability to transform any space into a powerful expression.

DJ Timbo is one of my favorite DJ’s! He’s not only a DJ, he’s the entertainment energy bunny.

STYLE

Hot pink glitter dots add the necessary sparkle to top all the guest tables. Adult tables showcased an elegant touch with a platinum lamour bottom linen. Teen tables had a pop of purple color to match the scattered pink and purple candies. Linens by Southwick Linens.

DÉCOR

To create a more private and intimate feel, white drape was added along with beautiful pink satin tie-backs. The walls were washed with a warm pink-purple glow which helps create great ambiance and stellar pictures. The tables glowed with many floating candles in clear glass cylinders which sat on top of pink gel beads. The attention to detail is what brings me back to hiring Corinne Carr, owner of Creative Occasions, event after event.
